New desk, who dis? ☀️🐧 most of my work is created on the ipad and laptop now, so i figured my canadian workspace could be much smaller than my setup in sydney. just waiting on my old bar cart and all my books to arrive. and i need to find a cute book case.

Swipe! 👆🏼a fun summery illo for @tostadamagazine. accompanies a story about a mother and son who spend their summer break listening to harry potter audio books and eating ice pops (that’s zooper doopers for us aussies!) sounds like a perfect situation to me 🌞
it’s a beautiful essay, and actually made me tear up a tiny bit. have a read at tostadamagazine.com 🍧
Had a c**p day and wanted to b**w off some steam by drawing some sickkk blackletter, but i’m too d**n tired and i’m gonna try find a way to watch a particular pbs documentary about squirrels instead. so here is some blackletter from the archives. maybe 2016? when i used to paint stuff by hand! 🤙🏼
Self portrait time! this was me, yesterday, when the tiny $30 jar of vegemite we ordered fiiiiiinally arrived 🦘and then we found out that @vincenzoswaterloo apparently has it for $10. anyway - i just completed @mrtomfroese’s odd bodies skillshare class and wanted to test out some of the things i learned. i generally really enjoy drawing the human body to look quite realistic, so the class was definitely a challenge! but it opened my eyes to how i need a little more flexibility and freedom in my drawing process. highly recommend the class for pushing your comfort zone when it comes to drawing people! ✍️❤️ #oddbodiesillustration
