congratulations to the 2018 @neidetroit winners. neideas celebrates existing business in the cities of detroit, hamtramck, and highland park, michigan – rewarding those with the best ideas for growth. this year there was 26 winners, 77 percent of the winners are minority-owned businesses, while 65 percent are women-owned businesses. since 2014, 144 small businesses have received over $2.16 million.

The entrance to the home where i lived last month in moulvibazar, bangladesh. i miss hearing the children next door play their instruments and sing. i miss the morning ritual of taking sadia to school with her mother. i miss watching the sunset on the roof with a community of women.
