The entrance to the home where i lived last month in moulvibazar, bangladesh. i miss hearing the children next door play their instruments and sing. i miss the morning ritual of taking sadia to school with her mother. i miss watching the sunset on the roof with a community of women.

Sheuly, age 11, is a housemaid in moulvibazar, bangladesh. after school she goes to work with her single mother, where she cleans dishes and takes care of children. she started working at age 9. when i spoke with her, sheuly began to cry. she said she dreams about becoming a teacher. many young girls in bangladesh are forced to drop out of school to help support their family.
