there are a couple things to keep in mind following a meal plan. notice how i didn't tell you exactly how much of these things you need to eat. this is because everyone is different. if you're just starting out, simply eating healthier and training hard will trigger f*t loss.

for breakfast, it's better to not eat carbs because you want to keep your body in the f*t burning mode that it has been throughout the night. if you eat carbs, insulin goes up and that interrupts that hormonal environment ideal for f*t loss. include protein, as with every other meal. and have caffeine as it has been proven to boost metabolism.

for every meal after other than dinner, eat starchy carbs and veggies & fruits instead of fats. keep the carbs to protein ratio as close to 1 : 1 as you can. any higher than 1.3 : 1 and it might turn into a muscle building meal. unless that's strictly what you're doing for, keep it lower.

for dinner, protein should be very high. even if you're getting 60 grams, cool. also eat plenty of good fats. if you want to eat carbs, sure. but keep them low.

on a side note, don't worry about numbers, ex. if you're getting a little bit of carbs in breakfast, no sweat.

i’m on a mini vacation and normally i would be freaking out with all the fried food i’ve eaten, and the chocolate i had today but you know what? im human! i can have fun once in a while, i can eat normal once in a while. as long as i don’t do it all the time i’m okay, 5 days out of the year isn’t going to k**l me. and i know that now. it’s taken me a long time to figure it out but here i am. •
i keep it real with you guys, i want you guys to know your not alone. everyone’s story is different our weight loss journeys are incredibly tough but we are in this together. •

I cannot wait to weigh tomorrow!!! not because i'm looking forward to it - feck no!!! i'm dreading it.. ive been the worst slimmer this week, well maybe not the worst as i have had decent meals.. but snacking has been ridiculous, i've just needed all the chocolate, and crisps, and s****y food i can get my hands on in between meals etc!! got to the point of sneaking in a c****y snack here or there and not uploading because i've inhaled them so quick there's no chance of a pic!!🙈🤣 (gotta laugh or il cry!!🤣) what a t**t i am🙋‍♀️.. oh well.. as i said.. weigh day tomorrow and the line will be drawn✏✏✏!!! maybe running to class will burn off 3 kitkat bars, salt and vinegar spirals, picnmix and budweiser ??? - doubtful danielle, very very doubtful 😂🤦‍♀️ •

💥 i’ve came too far to stop now. 💥 •

this week was by far the most mentally draining week of grad school. it took every ounce of my energy to maintain a positive demeanor these past few days. found myself doing my best to make excuses to not do my school work, not work out, not eat right... but i had to dig deep and remind myself that i came too far to let a bad week steer me away from my goals. this new lifestyle really taught me not to only discipline myself physically, but mentally as well. being able to shake off negativity and keep pushing is a skill that is difficult to master, but is necessary for growth. here’s to a new week of positivity and gains 💪🏾‼️💥🦍 •
