this transformation was something i didn’t expect and never ever planned on sharing.
-
let me rewind for a minute to better help you understand this girl in the left hand pictures.
my senior year of high school i was definitely not one that was “accepted”. i felt more “tolerated”. which even thinking back hurts.
-
i was no captain of any sport at school. let alone did i even step into a physical activity because i was too scared to be vulnerable.
-
unfortunately, when i use to run track back in middle school i was fast as fuck. i always came in 2nd or 3rd place. though i wasn’t ideally like everyone else i was looked down upon or laughed at.
-
i legit had someone tell me my “head was too big”. i didn’t even know that was possible and i was legit like... okay now how do i shrink my head ? 😂

senior year was a painful year due to the fact that all the friends i thought were my besties.. yeah they weren’t.

which led to an emptiness in me. binge eating. movie nights alone. researching the best way to lose 10 pounds in a week. (oh yeah not a real thing btw) lol.
-
everyone found their colleges and started clicking with each other because they were both going to the same school.
-
i decided to stay local and focus on me.
that was also frowned upon. “oh what school did you get into?” harvard? clemson? usc? uhhhh none, i didn’t apply for any of those?
-
i felt like not only was my body not good enough, i wasn’t smart enough.
-
that year i spent jumping from group to group finding somewhere to fit in.
-
i even tried to join clubs and it just never clicked.
-
fast forward a year. i was doing really well at my local university. i made deans list for all 4 semesters.
-
i felt smart.
-
i started working out consistently. built a better relationship with food.
-
started understanding a balanced diet.
i stayed consistent. i didn’t care what people thought about me anymore.
-
this was for me.
-
so i started posting on instagram.
-
i received so much amazing feedback and some negative as well. it didn’t phase me.

i had finally found my niche. a place where i felt accepted. (continued below👇🏼)

Well thats done 😁. could not get to my regular gym but fortunately we have a minigym @work so i could get that workout done. did triceps and chest today and had to swap some exercises because we dont have a pully system at work but we got there in the end. wanted to mix it up by doing back and schoulders but i couldn’t swap all the exercises 🤷‍♀️ so just went with the regular plan. >

Guess who got to 115lbs deadlift today?! feeling happy and strong. .

for those who don't know, i hurt my back lifting 135lbs in deadlifts over a month ago. i used to be able to lift 185-225 and the smaller i got in weight the less i could lift (high calorie deficit, excessive cardio...burning out etc) so i brought my weight down and eventually hurt myself. more than likely due to bad form and being too weak.

now i'm at a higher sustainable caloric deficit and am slowly getting stronger with daily weight training. .
.
with that being said, i know all of you can do whatever you put your mind to because i'm normally terrified of hurting myself again. i just got over that s**t and told myself "you can do this...watch your form and drop it if you need to" 💪🏽💪🏽 #keeppushing
