The air was mixed up with the odds and ends of setaria lutescens, and the fragrance of wild flower.

The forbidden plant 🌱
.
.

🇺🇸this plant had been condemned and persecuted several times throughout the centuries, considered as a "product of the devil", notably because of its psychoactive properties. those who consumed it were considered criminals and in many cases could be (and were) condemned to death. most recent studies scientifically prove the immense benefits of controlled consumption of coffee, but some cultures still find it a reprehensible product. any resemblance to another famous plant is not mere coincidence, as there are always strong economic interests behind cultural backwardness. history repeats itself and unfortunately we never learn from our mistakes.
