Making stretching fun! we all know the cool down is the most boring part of any post game or training session but it's so important! it helps to slowly bring your heart rate and breathing to normal, and stretching helps to reduce joint and muscle stiffness. @klfcofficial @jenkins_therapy

So... did you know dehydration causes fatigue!? i did not! everyday around 3-4 i would fight to keep my eyes open, even taking my supplements, eating, and drinking lots of water. i used electrolytes today, and omg!! i'm a different person. no afternoon crash/fatigue! amazing! 😘 i have two boxes of these, and was not using them! 🤦🏽 #stayhydrated #energy #fatigue #postworkoutfatigue #postworkout #health #nutrition #fitmom #fitlifestyle #weightloss #weightlossjourney

It is important to prepare your body before the workout if you want to beat post workout fatigue. here are a few things you can do-

1. keep your body fueled - eat a well prepared and thought out pre-workout solid meal 2 to 3 hours before you train. then 60 minutes or so before your workout take a liquid source of nutrients and performance-enhancing ingredients.
2. get enough sleep - optimal sleep i.e. 7 to 8 hours is essential for anyone who exercises regularly. it gives your muscles the time they need to repair and rebuild.

3. increase workout intensity gradually - don't jump the gun. give your body time to get used to hard work. increase the intensity of workout gradually so it's not taxing on your body.

4. do a warm up routine - a good warm-up gets all the joints moving one at a time, then all together, taking the body through progressive movements that loosen and stretch your muscles. it can help your body get prepared for what's coming.

5. stay properly hydrated - if you are not properly hydrated then you may feel lethargic and even dizzy after a workout. make sure you drink 2 to 3 glasses of water in the 3 hours preceding your workout.

How adrenalin fatigue occurs
if you suffer from adrenalin fatigue, your hormones are out of balance. if you try to exercise, it can actually be one of the causes of fatigue and your body will react in several ways that may cause problems for those with adrenalin fatigue. one of the most important is the release of norepinephrine and epinephrine; these help the body with aerobic exercises, keeping your heart rate up. people with adrenalin fatigue, however, tend to be unable to tolerate exercise because they feel fatigued either right away or soon after exercise. either the adrenals are not able to produce sufficient hormones to for the exercise itself, or the adrenals are unable to sustain the body afterwards.
it is important to give your adrenals the nutrients and rest it needs and your whole body will start to pick itself back up!
