These๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿป grain/dairy free & sugar detox approved salmon cakes are perfect for a quick weeknight meal - they take only 20 min to prep & cook from start to finish and you feel like you’re eating gourmet ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฝ‍โ™€๏ธ



the full recipe is in the link in my bio, but last night i just had to work with what i had in the fridge ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝ‍โ™€๏ธ so this was: 2 (6oz) drained cans of @costco wild salmon, 2 organic cage-free eggs, 3 tbsp finely chopped organic white onions, 2 tsp dijon mustard and some seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, fresh rosemary, ground sage, paprika, and s+p). that’s it!! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป



combine all ingredients well, form into 4 salmon cakes and cook on each side for 4-5 min or until lightly browned.



i also made some delicious homemade tartar sauce! combine in a food processor: 1 tbsp @primalkitchenfoods mayo, 1 tsp yellow mustard, 1 tsp finely chopped pickle, ~1 tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp dill, 1 organic garlic clove and a dash of s+p.



i paired it with roasted brussels sprouts, cucumbers and hummus. enjoy!!๐Ÿ˜‹

Because cookies are always a good choice...
staying classy with a chocolate chip cookie... only there is a twist- it is made with suflower seeds! there is no flour, no refined sugar and no dairy in these cookies but they are still so soft and chewy... yum! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜„

Buffalo chicken pizza ๐Ÿ˜ a simple chicken crust with all the buffalo toppings. โค
crust: 1 can chicken, 1 egg, 1/3 cup grated parmesan. shape on parchment and cook in 350 oven for 10 minutes.
toppings: make sauce with 2 tbsp sour cream, 2 tbsp franks hot sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. top sauce with a light coating of mozzarella cheese. put back in oven until mozzarella is melted. remove from oven and top with bleu cheese, green onions, and super finely diced celery. chow down.
i topped with more franks but was too busy inhaling this to take another photo. ๐Ÿ˜‚โค

creamy cashew butternut sage sauce ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป 3 cups roasted butternut squash (you can prepare this however you want but just ensure the squash is tender) • 1/2 onion diced + 1 garlic clove, sautéed in 1 tsp. oil until tender • 1 cup raw cashews • 3 cups unsweetened cashew milk (or almond milk) • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper • 1/2 tsp. dried sage • 1/4 tsp. salt + fresh pepper to taste • blend all ingredients until smooth ๐Ÿฅ tossed with @eatbanza chickpea pasta shells + sautéed garlicky spinach ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‹.

I was inspired to make a cucumber salad. i'd gotten so many fresh veggies and fruit i couldn't decide what to put in it. .
i decided to make a more summertime themed salad. i used wonderful fresh strawberries, red onion, cucumbers (obvi ๐Ÿ˜‹), and i used a blueberry sauce to tie it all together.

i didn't really love it when i first tried it. so i chose to let it sit over night and when i tried it the next day i loved it!!

my name is amanda, i’m 29, married with 2 kids (6 and almost 8!) that are my world.

3 years ago i was living the busy mom life, working part time, raising kids, getting out of debt and keeping up with a home. i was on an emotional binge eating and drinking rollercoaster which i had been on my whole adult-ish life. it has just gotten much worse with adult life. feel sad or emotional>overeat or drink> beat myself up for overeating> feel even worse about why i was sad in the first place> feel even worse and more guilt> beat myself up even more> start again next time something came up. it was endless! that was until i did whole30. (which i never thought i would have enough self control to do!) __

it has changed every aspect of my life. it helped me heal my broken relationship with food, heal the triggers that were causing it, heal the relationships that were causing the triggers, learn my self worth, taught me how to love my body with food, taught me how to have self control, gave me more confidence than i ever had before, loose over 50lbs, heal digestive problems, clear skin, lessen migraines, etc.

Happy humpday! today i tried out the new @burgerim_nashvilletn today with my good friend and fellow foodie @mazzunashvillerealtor. they have #waygu beef sliders in a lettuce wrap. the #waygu is a .79 cent upcharge, so live it up! you can add a side salad for $1 more. they have a yummy tahini sauce and avocado ๐Ÿฅ‘ you can add. it was better than a lot of other places i have tried locally. .
