Happy self-care sunday! i know, i'm always banging on about the importance of self care...and that's because it is probably one of the most important things you can do to if you want to feel good in your mind and body and to have the energy and focus that you need to do the work you want to put out into the world!

devote as much of your sunday to self-care as possible a d kick off the week feeling great!

here are some things you might like to do today:
☁ go cloud-watching. lie on your back, relax, and watch the sky.
💆 take a home spa. have a long bath or shower, sit around in your bathrobe, and read magazines.
😪 be still. sit somewhere green, and be quiet for a few minutes.
😂 goof around for a bit. enjoy five minutes of “play” (non-directed activity) several times throughout your day
☀get fifteen minutes of sun, especially if you’re in a cold climate.

we have quickly approaching week 7 of our 80 day o b s e s s i o n, and let me just be honest with y’all, it’s been a slow but steady progress for me🚶🏼‍♀️
.
i am a health conscious individual. i am an avid fitness junkie. i workout daily. i eat + breathe + sleep health & wellness. becoming a coach and mentoring a group of women through a program that i would also be doing for the first time... well, it was a little nerve racking.
.
▪️what if mine or my challenge b***s results weren’t as successful as everyone else’s that i’ve witnessed?
.
▪️what if these workouts weren’t enough or were too much for me, but i had to get through the program regardless because i made the commitment?
.
let me just tell you -
results don’t come quickly and change doesn’t happen over night. being patient and listening to your body has not only been my number one priority, but something that i have stressed to my girlies multiple times.
.
and, these workouts are plenty enough. phase☝🏼was truly an intro for me... phase✌🏼has really tested my limits and has thrown challenges at me that i was not expecting {bigger weights, more reps, new moves}
.
advise to myself: it’s all about patients & those baby steps.
.
where i am now. that is progress.

Gday groovy people. when it comes to #healthyeating i like to keep things simple 😋 our family motto when it comes to food and #nourishment is consume as much of our food from the sunshine ☀️😋👍 this means #wholefoods that are grown or raised outside in #nature .
whether you are an adult or child you can look at that food your about to put in your mouth and ask yourself - is this created outside in the sunshine ☀️ or is it manufactured in a factory 🏭 .
.
some sunshine foods i consume regularly include - fruit & veg, nuts & seeds, sustainable seafoods, pasturised meat & eggs, healthy fats, and whole carbs like rice, beans & quinoa
