3 ekor ikan kembung ukuran besar
2 sdm air jeruk nipis
1 sdt garam

haluskan:
20 butir bawang merah
7 siung bawang putih
20 buah cabai merah keriting
20 buah cabai rawit (optional)
6 butir kemiri sangrai
1 ruas kunyit
1 ruas jahe

3 batang sdrai ambil bagian putihnya, iris tipis
1 ikat daun kemangi, ambil daunnya
1 batang daun bawang iris tipis
2 buah timat potong dadu
2 sdm minyak goreng
daun pisang untung bungkus pepes
lidi secukupbya untuk menyemat
2 sdm air asam jawa

cara membuat :
1. lumuri ikan dengan air jeruk nipis dan garam selama 20menut. sisihkan.
2. campur bumbu halus, bersama serai, daun jemangi, daun bawang, tomat, dan minyak goreng. bagi bumbu menjadi 3 sama banyak
3. ambil daun pisang, beri ikan dan 1 bagian bumbu pepes diatasnya. bungkus dan semat dengan lidi. lakukan sampai ikan dan bumbu habis.
4. panaskan kukusan, masukkan ikan ke dalan kukusan. kukus selama 30 menit. angkat sajikan .
