I’m like a kid in a candy store at an entirely vegan restaurant and ironically it’s the only place i’ll order a salad because i get more than just lettuce and carrots. caesar salad with fried buffalo tofu and yes i also ate the best grilled cheese but it didn’t photograph as well so here ya go. 😁 love! @vtopiashop

1. variety... by eating the same breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, your taste buds are going to get bored superrr quickly and you’ll reach for a chocolate bar in no time. try to get creative in the kitchen! add a variety of colour/ingredients, and don’t be afraid to add different herbs and spices for new, exciting flavours. when you’re changing up your meals occasionally, it’ll keep you interested in what you’re eating for a much longer time that forcing yourself to having chicken and broccoli for every meal 🤦🏼‍♀️

2. habits... getting into the habit of reaching for more nourishing foods is what makes healthy eating a lifestyle, not a chore! your body and taste buds will adapt to your healthier choices and you’ll soon thrive and really see how much healthier and happier you feel instead of reaching for processed foods all the time. remember, it takes “approximately 21 days” to get out of a bad habit or make a new one, so keep persisting!

3. preparation... humans always like the easiest option, that’s why we are relying more and more on fast foods. if you already have a healthy meal planned and prepped that is readily available, you’re much more likely to choose the healthier alternative! instead of tempting yourself with a cupboard full processed, less nourishing foods, swap them for real foods instead. that way you’re going to reach for a piece of fruit instead of a bag of chips. 🍟➡️🍎

This my third month taking @ritual multivitamins. i didn't know how much they would help me but figured what could they hurt? 🔸
i'm totally hooked. three months ago i had to take a full day laying in bed to recover from one day of normal person activities (shopping, going to class, etc). now, i can walk up and down my stairs without my legs turning to jello. sometimes i even take two stairs at a time because i can 🤣 i can spend a full day at work and not need days to recover. and i can model in front of abandoned buildings 😂 but seriously, i'm living without fear of relapse, and it's amazing! 🔸

the squat is a great overall builder or shaper as it develops every part of your lower body from your b**t to the overall leg, including quads and hamstrings.

for squatting, make sure you are in the middle of the bar and it sits on on top of your traps (the small pillows i like to call them) and is across the back of your shoulders. hold on to the bar just outside your shoulders so you can help balance the bar and avoid it falling down while you are going up and down. -
look straight forward or look up as you control the weight down. be sure to sit back on your heels, keeping your upper body tight. inhale as you lower the weight and exhale as you push the weight back up a little faster than you lowered it. -
