So grateful for people like perry nickelston @stopchasingpain who understand so much more about the complexities, interconnectedness & the mind boggling amazingness of the human body...and is sharing the awareness so that people can learn & heal themselves. pain tied up with emotional issues is something that i see & resolve on a near daily basis. chakras (as far as pain & emotional resolution go) can hold a veritable treasure trove of findings & links to resolve the painful issues at hand. ・・・

If you know me, you probably know i’ve been struggling w my health for the past year or so, & i finally figured it out!!! i have copper toxicity, aka heavy metal blood poisoning, from my iud 🀯🀯🀯... metal af bro πŸ€˜πŸΌπŸ˜‚ .

what they don’t tell you, is that the copper clogs up your liver (esp if you party) creating a drop in zinc, and a rise in estrogen. the symptoms include:
sudden food intolerances, hair loss, cysts & abcesses, chronic infections, candida, rashes, erratic emotions, memory loss, brain fog, insomnia, anxiety, depression, & adhd to name a few that i was/still am experiencing. a literal nightmare. & it takes 2 years for the copper to fully leave your system 🀬
i felt like a stranger in my own body. i thought i was losing my f*****g mind, and it turns out i was πŸ˜“ since i yanked that b***h out (yes, myself) and have been supplementing i feel my real self returning. this has almost ruined my life you guys, i’m a prideful person and i try to keep up appearances but it has been hell. there have to be so many women dealing with this, i feel like i want to shout it from the rooftops!! .

The journey!!!!!!

i don't even know where to start because this is completely out of my comfort zone but let me start by saying a huge thank you to an amazing brother who has played a big role in this journey of mine @fitnessvwork josh!!! i've said this many times before but you've been so supportive, encouraging and understanding throughout. you are an absolute legend!!!!! β€πŸ‘ŠπŸΎ

the last 60 days have been extremely challenging but not once did i feel like quitting or giving up. infact i was upset with myself for reasons beyond my control which led to me skipping meals and workout sessions but with determination, consistency and perseverance i pulled through.
.
once upon a time i would just have 1 meal a day and even forget to eat sometimes due to loss of appetite. i didn't know this was a contributing factor to a slow metabolism but one thing i knew was that stress makes me put on weight. how? i have no clue. as some of you may know, i love cooking but the ironic thing is that i'm not a foodie. i'm probably the pickiest eater you would ever meet.
.
i never understood why i gained so much weight. it didnt make sense to me but through the 60 day challenge i found that it was simply because i didn't know my body as well as i thought i did.
.
the 60 days #fitnessvwork challenge with @fitnessvwork has been an eye opener in so many ways. from eating once or sometimes twice a day (when i can be bothered) to eating 4 times a day and exercising at least 3 times a week, i'm slowly reaching my goal. it wasnt just a 60 days challenge but the beginning of a new lifestyle and i've gone from 86kg to 77kg!!!! the 60 days challenge may be over but the journey continues.

i couldn't have done this without this wonderful and supportive baldie of mine @sirelorm thanks for dragging me to the gym at 5am. it was annoying but looking at the progress i've made, it was certainly worth it.

if i can do it, there is no reason why you can't!!!! i hope this motivates someone out there to keep going. it may take long but you will get there!!

if you want long term results and a good relationship with food these two values need to come down a peg and you need to really consider how the food you are eating makes you feel. at the end of the day food is there to fuel the body. in today’s world foods are manufactured to be so palatable and become so processed that they no longer have the same properties that help your body to know when its had enough. once you start to think about the food you’re are eating, and realise there’s a direct correlation between what you and eat and how you look, feel and perform, choosing the right foods everyday won’t seem like such a chore. nature knows best. eat real food❗️

Isn't it funny how your body changes and responds to certain foods? this past weekend i ate an entire cookie brownie minus three pieces i let @haze_thuh_barber have,had drinks, burger, french toast and mimosas for brunch..when i woke up monday i was full of water..anyone not knowing that an overabundance of carbs makes you hold water and appear "fatter" would freak out thinking they gained 5 lbs of f*t or more, which is impossible to do overnight. so i did dead treadmill sprints, got at least a gallon of water down to help flush out the water i was holding and trained back that evening. yesterday i was still eating whatever, and woke up like this..its all about knowing your body, and what works for you.. you can't do what someone else is doing bc it may not work for you..when people ask for my diet or what i eat.. i tell them and say good luck at not gaining fat, bc i know what my body responds to, my training intensity, and the macros that work for me.. i know that they won't work for you, but i'm not one to burst anyone's bubble..i'll let you find out first hand.
