⁉️weight vs stress

we all get effected by stress everyday and underestimate the consequences.

stress refers to our body’s response to challenges it may face. people react differently to the same situation and level of stress varies.
coping mechanisms may also be different, but one thing that many people turn to when faced with stress is food!
and thats what leads to extra kg!

stress can be:
📍acute. an example would be preparing for an exam or running late for a meeting or being stuck in traffic.
📍chronic. it refers to stress experienced continuonsly, typically over the course of months or years. chronic stress takes a major toll on health and creates pro-inflammotory state associated with a variety of chronic diseases.

📍however a small amount of stress can be beneficial, it may help increase focus and tap into the motivation needed to accomplish taks.

📍stress and food.
some turn to food as a momentary escape, others on the contrary stop eating.
stress has a major impact on the types of food you tend to seek out and its mostly comforting foods that provide a wuick source of energy.

🧘🏽♀️stress management may naturally help support a more nutritious diet as its likely to reduce the instances when one is driven to consume naughty foods and may also help balance the harmones related to appetite and weight regulation.
