Im not a fan of constantly checking my weight on the scale and we all know in this lifestyle your weight fluctuates. however i did lose 6lbs post surgery. most people would love to drop weight, me on the other hand i want to gain it because it can be so difficult however i’ve learned if i feel good that’s all that matters not the numbers. time to gain some muscle 🙂💪

i've had some people tell me that they don't think my fitness and nutrition programs are for them because they've never been able to stick to anything consistently. ⁣⁣

something looks too hard and we're afraid we'll fail, so we don't even try it in the first place. it's absurd to even think about doing it. "it will be pointless!" believe me, i've been there before. ⁣⁣

this is what we call a limiting belief.⁣⁣

the thing is, we have to push past those. you would be surprised how easy it is to stick to something when you fall in love with doing it! ⁣⁣

Bicep &tricep are most attractive body parts of men and most loved exercise

1 – biceps are a ‘pull’ body part and triceps are a ‘push.’ so there will be little worry of pre-exhaustion setting in and effecting the second one worked.

2 – arms are always good to work more than once a week so if you do them together earlier, then you would be able to rest both a few days and hit them again.

Wasn’t really feeling today’s meal plan so decided to mess around and try something different!

gen came up with an awesome recipe for protein pancakes which allowed us to keep the cravings away while staying within our calorie budget!

here’s the recipe!

all you need is: ✅1 banana
✅4 eggs
✅1 scoop of protein powder 💢smash the banana in a mixing bowl
💢add protein powder and mix
💢add eggs and whisk together 💢use cooking oil spray and cook on the pan on low heat
💢add some mixed berries on top!

and you’re done!

all up they accounted for more that 50 g of protein and less than 30 g of carbs 😋

At this point i feel like i like the pain of running 13.1 miles with zero training 🥴🥴🥴🥴 last year i set a goal of getting the triple crown - run three half marathons: carlsbad • la jolla • afc - and earn the “triple crown” and bragging rights. i ran 2 out of the 3. unfortunately, i was not able to make the last race so i didn’t finish 😭 last year i was promoted and moved to a new department. 3 months into my new role, our largest annual conference happen to land on the same weekend as the afc. i couldn’t get out of work, therefore couldn’t make the run 😭

it sucked. i was sad. shoot, i didn’t even post about it!!! so last year i told myself i was going to go for it again ... even though la jolla’s race was literally the worse, i still survived it, so i know i’m capable of doing it again 🥴 but then i lost motivation and brushed it off.
well tomorrow my crazy a*s is running - and i use that term very loosely - 13.1 miles all for this dang triple crown. thank goodness the carlsbad route is flat and beautiful! none the less, i’d love if you can send some prayers my way. i won’t be walking for at least 3 days after this 😅

intense pump for small shoulders, better to focus more on your technique than your heavy weight.
- the trick about having full energy during your whole session, do not use heavy weight fron your first exercise ( warm-up and get good stretch ) so you keep your blood pressure for intense pump, this is how i do it most of the time, i usually go with light weight and have 12 reps ✅ instead of heavy weight and just 3-4 reps are ✅ - i use heavy weight only at last sets of my workout. ‼️ try lift heavy at the beginning and see what happens ‼️try warm up and stretch well and see what happens
let me know if you have tried one of these options, as bodybuilding not really similar to other sports, you need to understand your body you capability so you dont get lost 😆 .
