This weather is realllllly killin my motivation to go to the gym lately. i’ve only worked out 3x in the past 2 weeks 😅💀 i’ve felt so unmotivated and just flat out lazy. it’s so easy to skip a workout to just let your body recover but then that one rest day turns into 2 and so forth😰 -

I spent a lot of time worrying about my body, worrying about my appearance, personality, and everything, to please other people & to please myself.


the amount of people that walked by during this photo shoot would’ve scared the s**t out of me a year ago.


i used to care about what other people thought of me, so deeply that i’d make up stories in my head. i’m sure we all did that at some points in our lives and still do. but once i really started focusing on self-development, in all senses, mental and physical health, other peoples’ opinions of me in my head (&my own negative opinions) and the f***s i gave towards it started shrinking.


now i don’t see all the things i’m not capable of. i see all the work i put in.


i see all the times i dragged myself to the gym on the days i didn’t even want to leave my home.


i see all the days i dreaded going to the grocery store and meal prepping after a long day at work, but still did it.


i see all the times i stepped into the gym with fears and got through the workout feeling better about myself than i walked in.


i see all the weight i lifted at the gym i never even thought i’d be able to get off the ground.


i see all the mental work i went through on a daily basis to get to where i am today.


i see myself doing this for me. i see what i’m capable of, physically and mentally. i see all the work i put in to feel strong inside and out.


this doesn’t mean that my insecurities don’t get to me at times. of course they do. but working on my health and self-development means i’m always going to be working on bettering myself for myself and others around me, and i don’t think anything can bring your self-esteem up more than knowing you’re working on continually growing mentally and physically.

woher kommt es, dass viele männliche kraftsportler sich so heftig gegen diese trainingsmethode wehren❓
hierbei wird ja mit deutlich mehr wiederholungen (15-50) gearbeitet und mit entsprechend weniger gewicht❗️
frauen erhoffen sich davon eine schlanke, straffe silhouette ohne berge von muskeln und verzichten daher oft auf die formenden effekte von muskelaufbautraining zu gunsten von vielen wiederholungen❗️
was ist also dran an den erwartungen❓

dieses training bezieht sich hauptsächlich auf das training deiner stoffwechselprozesse in deinen muskelzellen❗️
frauen setzen allerdings das wort stoffwechsel häufig automatisch mit dem fettstoffwechsel gleich - es gibt aber noch andere stoffwechselprozesse im körper❗️
👉 in diesem fall beziehen sie sich auf die anlieferung von nährstoffreichen und sauerstoffreichem frischen blut und der abtransport von restprodukten wie z.b. laktat❗️
du trainierst mit kraftausdauerttaining also den austausch von nährstoffen und reststoffen in deiner muskelzellen❗️
das heißt sie können länger arbeiten und sind auch nach kürzerer pause wieder fit❗️
ein optisches ergebnis könntest du mit dieser trainingsform ebenfalls bekommen - allerdings ist es deutlich schwieriger mit kraftausdauer zum muskelaufbau zu gelangen, da lange vor dem dafür notwendigen muskelversagen
das brennen einsetzt (ein zeichen, dass deine zellen mit dem austausch der stoffe überfordert sind)❗️
und dieses wird in richtung muskelversagen so stark, dass du sicher vorher abbrichst❗️

for all you sexy mummies out there asking me for an inner thigh/thigh gap workout. this ones a killer! and yes like all my personalised workouts, these exercises are core and pelvic floor friendly 😊 more than 200 of you saved my last workout 😲😱 heheh so hope you all like this one as well. save it and have a go. let me know what you think. .
please note: our pelvic structure plays a very important role in that “thigh gap”. in women where their hip bones sit further a part in the pelvis their “thigh gap” will naturally be more prominent. so rather than fixating on a gap let’s work towards toned inner thighs. there is absolutely nothing wrong if your beautiful thighs touch ladies but if you would like a more toned appearance, gap or no gap here are some exercises that will make your inner thighs burn. aim for 3-5 rounds ladies.
1. lying leg lift 15-20reps
2. inner thigh squeeze 15-20reps (yup i used my sons soccer ball 🤫)
3. kneeling leg cross over 15-20reps
4. tandem (one foot directly in front of the other) standing hip flexion 15-20reps
5. assisted sumo squats 15-20reps. .
