recipe (1 serving)👩🏻‍🍳
- 1/2 very ripe banana
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups plant milk (works with water as well)
- 1/2 tsp cardamom (or whatever you like)
how:
1. mash the banana in a saucepan then add oats, plant milk and cardamom
2. cook the oatmeal on medium heat while stirring during the whole process until it becomes thick and creamy
3. serve in a bowl and top with raspberry jam, peanut butter and the other banana half! (or feel free to add whatever toppings you like) 🎵flashback by jef

Woke up feeling like a creature. 👹 definitely time to wash the hair. i have reached the limit to where dry shampoo is socially acceptable. 😂 in all seriousness, i think you guys have learned that i am a creature of habit. i listen to the same song on repeat until i hate it. i have the same ridiculous setup in my squat each week. i use the same @fettywap1738 hype up song when i deadlift. i get stuck on one food and eat it until i k**l it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ haven’t killed eggs and avocado toast yet so we’re rolling with the usual for another day! heading to ze gym for some singles. 🏋🏻‍♀️

Sweet potato toastin’ today 🤗 cinnamon apples, pomegranates, and alllll the cashew butter 😎 going to argue that cinnamon apples, nut butter, and sweet potato is one of the best combos of all time 💯 like no lie, i’d eat it for every meal if i didn’t think my body would start to lack in nutrients 😂 i didn’t have any sweet potatoes prepped so i popped one in the the microwave for 3-4 mins then sliced it, put it on broil (middle shelf or it burns!) for about 10ish mins until it was soft! slice it then so it cooks faster 👌🏻 sautéed some cinnamon apples while it cooked and oh my gosh it makes the house smell so good 😊 switched things up with a pomegranate + blueberries + avocado one and it did not disappoint 🙌🏻 i love pomegranate seeds so much but they can be a pain to get out!! eli has a really cool trick of hitting it with a wooden spoon, i’ll film a short clip next time i have one! the perfect cozy fall breakfast on a cold morning 🤗 happy tuesday friends- who else toasted today?! ————————————————————————— #breakfast details 👉🏻 1 japanese sweet potato (i cut it into 5ths but only ate 3!) baked on broil, i microwaved it first to get it soft to get it, for about 10 mins until it was soft. topped from left to right: @woodstockfoods cashew butter, bananas, and cinnamon. sautéed spinach with avo, pomegranate seeds, and blueberries. more cashew butter, sautéed cinnamon apples (medium heat, a little bit of coconut oil, and cinnamon) + @gr8nola ❤️

Found myself craving toast, so i made it happen — funny how that works 🤷🏻‍♀️ this is @mikeys paleo bread toasted twice (that’s the trick to the perfect crunchy outside and soft inside) topped with mashed avo, smoked salmon, fresh dill and bagel seasoning.

Turkish get ups... i absolutely love this exercise for strengthening your core, great for shoulder stability as well. start with a light dumbbell or kettlewell and work your way up. the goal for progressing with this exercise should emphasise the stability component of the move rather than just focusing on the load used.

I had a few people ask me what is the secret to continued weight loss and fitness. so here are my go to tricks!

it truly is nutrition first! it doesn’t matter what your body type - nutrition is the key.
you are what you eat and no matter how much you work out - the majority of us will see it on us everywhere.
now this is where it gets diluted and complicated...so many programs, confusing diets, some are way too restrictive.
1. find out what diet makes you feel good with the most energy and that feels attainable. (whole30, keto, paleo, ect)
2. my diet of choice and that works best for my body is (whole30, paleo). i have severe allergies and some food intolerances so i need to stay away from grains, dairy, legumes/beans
3. find a way to have the food you need on hand always! meal prep and food services are key to stay on tract - you can’t mindlessly halfway do a diet! you need to prepare and eat the right food.
4. there are several companies now that you can purchase meals from to make your life easier. they actually are very reasonable. (blue apron, hello fresh, home chef, etc)
5. exercise doesn’t have to be crazy, get moving start with a walk, add some weights after, 30 to 60 min 4 days a week to start.
6. again meal prep, buy what you should eat, get rid of all other temptations and weaknesses from your fridge.
7. these are the things i always have in hand apples, grapes, grass fed jerky, i make meals and make extra for lunch. i don’t like meal prep for several days it’s too boring i do two days at a time maximum.
8. it’s all trial and error, the first few days aren’t that hard! just set out and make the effort to have the tools (food) and just do it.
the biggest thing i had a issue with was trying to fit my needs to be like others who were fit and their diets didn’t work for me! there exercise routine didn’t work for me either! we are all unique and it really isn’t that confusing.

most diets are sure to eliminate sugar, it’s in everything and natural thru fruit is the best for you. don’t count calories just eat the purest, most natural form of food and you will feel so much better!

Bei mir gibt's mal etwas früher abendessen, kartoffelecken mit ein paar zuccini chips und ofen tomaten👌💓.
der kleine schläft gerade noch so schön und wer weiß ob ich später sonst dazu gekommen wäre.
der tag war heute nicht so entspannt wie sonst🙈. piet hat viel gequängelt und wollte auch nicht so richtig schlafen, noch wollte er abgelegt werden. außer ☝️ ich bin bei ihm geblieben😄. so war es dann auch. wir haben heute einen richtigen gammel - kuschel - spieltag eingelegt😊 muss ja auch mal sein. wir zwei gehen heute früh ins bett und morgen kommt der papa auch schon wieder 😍
außerdem ist morgen wiegetag🙄 bin schon ganz gespannt nach meinem cheatday am sonntag🙈
