Behind the scenes of filming 5-minute chest exercises ⭐️this took two attempts since one transition didn't film as #diastasisrecti aware as i liked. so i redid the whole thing with a different transition. that's right, it wasn't even one of the exercises, but a transition between exercises that nagged the edges of my mind. i knew i could make it safer for those dealing with #diastasis and #hernia so we quickly refilled the entire thing. we do this a lot actually. we also have been know to take down old workouts and replace them with updated, more#tummysafe versions. that's what an 8-year old business that truly cares about its clients does! we aren't married to our old workouts! as i learn more about the #core i pass it on. it's called being flexible 😎#fit2b #homefitness #homeworkout #onlinefitness #onlineworkouts #pilates #yoga #weights #abdominals #chest #chairworkout #modifiedplank #benchpress #bandpress #chestfly #tabata #stretching #hyggefitness

- -with this exercise it is very crucial to take note of your positioning and execution of the movement. it is very easy to injure yourself on this machine. as you can see in the picture above sitting with your elbows above your shoulders will lead to shoulder pain and not getting a correct contraction. try adjusting the seat and sitting with your triceps parallel to the ground and you will get a much better squeeze.

🤷🏼‍♂️how to perform this exercise-
1. sit in a pec-deck station with your back straight or firmly against the backrest, plant your feet on the ground, and place your elbows and forearms on the pads.
2. your elbows are flexed at about 90º at the mid-chest level.
3. squeeze your pecs to bring the pads together in front of your chest. 4. flex your chest hard at the moment in the exercise when your elbows are together. 5. repeat for the necessary amount of reps!

1. do not bounce the weight
2. do not do half reps, get a full contraction!
3. do not sit with your elbows above shoulders
4. do not take your back off the back pad
