Beef & lentil bolognese ||
- kid friendly meal -

- 500g lean grass fed beef mince
- 1tbs butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 celery stick, diced
- 6 mushrooms - 1tsp dried oregano - 400g tin whole tomatoes
- 400g tin lentils, drained & rinsed - 1tbs tomato paste or pasata - himalayan pink salt
- black pepper .
.
- heat butter in a heavy base pot.
- add onion, celery and carrot, stir to coat in butter, cook for about 5mins, stirring occasionally.
- add beef mince to the pan, stir to break up all the mince, cook until brown.
- meanwhile blitz tin tomatoes, drained lentils & mushrooms in the food processor to form a thick sauce. - once meat is brown add the tomato/lentil/mushroom sauce, oregano and tomato paste/pasata, stir to combine. - season with salt and pepper and allow to simmer for at least 20mins. - serve with pasta, vegetable pasta, vegetables or my fave a big bowl of baby spinach and parmesan cheese!.

🌱 les clémentines. 🍊

petit point culture concernant l'un des fruits hivernales les plus consommés, la clémentine.

elle fait partie de la famille des agrumes et vient du clémentier, un arbre issu du croisement entre le mandarinier et l'oranger.

elle est verte à maturité, et gagne sa jolie couleur orange grâce aux basses températures hivernales.

mais, pourquoi en consommer ? que nous apporte ce fruit que l'on aime tant ?

la clémentine est une source importante de minéraux et d'oligo-éléments : elle apporte pas moins de 26mg de calcium, 11mg de magnésium et 0,35mg de fer pour 100g.

en plus de cela, elle contient 1,4g de fibres, bon point pour la flore intestinale, la satiété et donc la santé en générale.

elle contient de la carotène qui peut améliorer la peau et la vue, mais aussi des flavonoïdes qui ont une propriété anti-inflammatoire.

enfin, l'une des plus grandes raisons de sa consommation, sa teneur en vitamine c qui est de 41mg pour 100g, aidant à lutter contre la fatigue et à survivre à l'hiver.

la clémentine est un fruit très intéressant en terme de micro-nutriments, alors n'hésitez pas à en abuser, d'autant que sa chair juteuses et acidulée convient même aux systèmes digestifs délicats ! 💯
