I'd like to start by giving a huge thank you to everyone who supported me through the beginning of this journey. to those wishing me luck or have in any sense been there for me i send my love and blessings your way. a special thanks go to my parents, my coaches, my other half bree; this couldn't have been done without you💕 i finished off the night getting first in my class and second in open! i am beyond humbled to be surrounded by such beautiful people. when i started this journey my life was at a low today i stand happy and confident in all aspects. prep has taught me so much about myself; how to push when i wanted to quit, how to manage my time better, how to surround yourself with those who are positive influence, ect. i am so happy from what i have learned and the amazing life experience i have gained. body building is an amazing sport. in order to achieve, come close, or surpras your goal you have to start months or years in advance. there's no procrastination in this sport. i love this sport and am ready for what's next. this is just the begging so let's get started 😇💪🏼

When it comes to leg press foot placement and where to target the legs is crucial, obviously more of the quads, and less of the hamstrings. a lot of people have that misconception that just getting on the machine and it does the work. but you really have to pay attention to what your doing, since it is a quad exercise. for foot placement, as you get high up on the platform which people tend to do. you will focus more on the hamstrings which is the back of the legs and glutes. obviously that’s not what we’re focusing on. keep your foot low on the platform! yes, higher foot placement will make it a lot easier to press a lot of weight. which you will often see guys (or even girls) at the gym that like to press a lot of weight using this form to impress people. but we’re just going to stick to getting the most contraction out of the legs. platforms will vary in size, so you want to keep your feet on a lower position of the platform. not high because it’s going to work more on the hamstring unless that’s what your trying to focus on. foot placement should be no more than shoulder width apart. last few notes: 1- make sure ur feet stays flat on the platform the entire exercie 2-your toes pointed slightly out. this will maximize quads contraction 3-you want to come down to the point where your glutes don’t lift up from the platform. 4-don't look ur knee up so that u keep ur quads under tension all the time #workout #workouttips #legday #legworkout #model #gym #gymtime #gymlife #weighttraining #sweat #fitness #instafit #bodybuilding #active
