Dudes, i have to brag.
waking up every morning to this little soul saying, “i love you,” and coming home to her saying, “what are you doing,” (literally) fills my heart with a crazy amount of joy. who would’ve ever thought a little phia bird could bring me so much happiness?! all she wants in life is love, she lives in the present moment, she always wants to make new friends, she forgives at the drop of a dime, has great eye contact, and loves to snack...all day...everyone should be more like phia in my opinion!🥰 show some gratitude towards what you’re thankful for today!!! i’m thankful for phia, and i always will be.

“sparrow” #prismacolorpencils on #stonehengepaper. i enjoyed adding a variety of colours to the fence. i love adding unexpected colours that you wouldn’t think you’d see in real life, but they somehow make sense anyway! #cp_art #just_colorpencil_art #canadianartists #drawing #colourpencil #colorpencildrawing #colorpencil #bird #birdsofinstagram #sparrow #canadianart #birdwatcher reference photo used with kind permission. link in bio where you can find out more information. thanks for looking!

A coot and her chicks at a lake in wimbledon common 🐥🦆
both coot parents were diving for food to feed their 6 chicks. they eat food such as algae, snails and insect larvae.
the chicks were very cute and scrawny looking, with black bodies, red heads and beak and orange fluff around their necks.
the adults are known for their white frontal shields on their forehead. they also have lobed toes to help them swim instead of webbed feet.
