- we all love to have a defined six pack and for that it’s essential to have a low body f*t percentage so with that being said cardiovascular work is always welcome to reduce our body f*t levels. it only makes sense to combine cardio and abs. one of my biggest concerns about training is to always do efficient work! i don’t know about you but i don’t like to exercise for super long periods of time! that’s why you need to think outside the box and make sure you get the best of each second of your effort.
⚠️ perform as a circuit 5 times rest at end of each round for 1min
1️⃣ banded v crunches 15 reps
2️⃣ 1min mountain climbers to frog stance
3️⃣ 1min cross climbers

Taking momentum out of the equation is something to think about if you’re really looking increase the strength of a given muscle group! for instance, when on doing decline bench presses i often do pause reps: with the barbell at a dead stop, each rep will recruit more & more fibers from having to fire from the hardest part of the lift!

then we have l-sit pull-ups: not only are you really engaging your lower abs, your biceps & various muscles of the upper back do all of the work (as opposed to using the momentum generating from pulling the knees up to help with the rep). simple tweaks like these can lead to so many benefits from increased power to increased confidence for many other lifts! #smittybechillin #blackfitness #getyouatrainerwhocares #chest #triceps #biceps #rhomboids #traps #shoulders
