Lemon garlic butter shrimp with asparagus🍤🌱

1.5 lbs (700g) medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1.5 (700g) asparagus (1 bunch) rinsed and trimmed
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
2 teaspoons onion powder
salt and fresh cracked pepper, to taste
1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable stock
1 tablespoon sriracha (or any hot sauce you like)
crushed chili pepper flakes, optional
juice of 1/2 lemon
fresh chopped parsley or cilantro, for garnish
directions

1. place a large non-stick skillet with 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. add the asparagus and season to taste. saute until the asparagus is crisp-tender, 4-6 minutes. remove from the pan and set aside.

2. in the same pan, add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and add shrimp. season with salt and pepper, cook 1-2 minutes on one side.

3. add the minced garlic, italian seasoning, and onion powder. stir to combine and flip the shrimp to cook on the opposite side.
cook for 1 minute then add 1/4 cup vegetable stock and sriracha. allow the sauce to reduce for 1 minute, making sure not to overcook the shrimp.

4. push shrimp on the side and add asparagus back to the pan. stir asparagus to coat them into the sauce and squeeze half of a lemon over the top of the shrimp and asparagus. allow reheating for 1-2 minutes. remove from heat, garnish with parsley, lemon slices, and red crushed chili pepper if you like. serve the shrimp and asparagus immediately, enjoy!

I’ve been spending the day catching up with family i haven’t seen in a while so i’m throwing it back to this yummy plate of goodness. baked almond crusted cod with sautéed broccoli rice, asparagus, corn on the cob, juicy tomato wedges and half and avocado. i hope you’re enjoying your weekend.

Honey garlic steak bites 🥩🌿

5 ingredients, minutes to prep, and only 2 minute cook time!

you wouldn’t believe how flavorful, tender and delicious these are, yet so simple! just be sure to allow one hour to marinate so they soak up all that flavor
-
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, f*t trimmed, diced into cubes just under 1-inch
1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
3 garlic cloves, minced (1 tbsp)
2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
green onions or sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
place steak pieces in a gallon size resealable bag.
in a mixing bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey and garlic. pour over steak, seal bag while pressing out excess air then rub marinade over steak.
transfer to refrigerator and let marinate 1 - 2 hours.
heat 1 tbsp oil in a heavy non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
remove half the steak from marinade, transfer to skillet (spaced apart) and let sear until golden brown, about 1 minute then flip to opposite side.
let continue to cook to desired doneness, about 1 minute longer (internal safe temperature is 145 degrees). transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining steak.
serve warm garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Breakfast tacos are my favourite kind of tacos 🤷🏼‍♀️especially when it involves fluffy scrambled eggs, creamy af avocado sauce, cauliflower and asparagus for that veg kick, chilli flakes and all the herbs (especially dill).

c'est un plat tellement réconfortant et rempli de bonnes choses 😍 quand tu ne sais pas choisir quels légumes mettre dans ton plat, tu les prends tous💚💪🏻
j'ai jamais vraiment aimé les légumes à part petit-pois et haricots, mais de faire et penser ses photos me donner l'occasion de sortir de ma zone de confort et de goûter des légumes que je n'aurais jamais penser aimer 😍

dans mon assiette : nouilles aux oeufs, romanesco, asperges, haricots verts, brocoli, mange-tout, avocat et un oeuf poché.
